The Clinic
Muskoka North Veterinary Services was established in August of 2017 by Dr. Kelli Drost and is a subsidiary of Muskoka North Veterinary Services Professional Corporation. It was established after the closing of Muldrew Lake Veterinary Services when I and my husband moved from our home in Gravenhurst to our new farm in Magnetawan. I offer services to communities both south and north of us offering quality and innovative health care on the farm. The clinic has returned to a solo veterinarian full time large animal practice with a mobile unit that provides a full range of large animal veterinary services to my clients.
The clinic provides regular business hour services as well as 24/7 Emergency Veterinary Services for clients only, and I require payment at time of service. Unfortunately I am not able to bill out at the end of the month, so all accounts must be paid in full at the time of service for both regular scheduled calls and emergency calls.
Due to an expansive coverage territory and heavy client load, I have restricted my northern territory up to Sundridge and down south to Kilworthy. Since my workload is heavy and I want to continue to offer my clients the best possible service in a timely manner, I am only taking on a limited number of new clients per year. Please call to find out if there are any spots available and to book a farm visit to set up your client status.
Please note: I do not treat swine (farm or pot belly pig pets), exotics or poultry at this time. Bovine reproductive exams must be booked with another practice.

Dr. Kelli Drost, DVM
Veterinary medicine was a long time childhood dream that Kelli achieved after leaving a successful career as a dairy farm manager. She raised, trained and competed with Canadian Sport Horses during that time as well before selling all of her horses to attend university in Nova Scotia in pursuit of that dream. She graduated in 2002 from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario and then went on to work as a large animal veterinarian in a few clinics in Southern Ontario before branching out to start Muldrew Lake Veterinary Services, based out of Gravenhurst Ontario. Kelli has since worked as a solo practitioner for the past 12 years and enjoys equine dentistry, preventative herd health and bovine medicine. Kelli lives in Gravenhurst with her husband Mark, yellow lab "Trax", lab cross "Carson", Maine Coon cat "Savannah" and horses "Nicky and Slickers".
